Role Summary

The Bilingual Customer Support Advisor for BMO InvestorLine is a pivotal role designed to deliver outstanding customer service and support to clients in both French and English. This remote position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can manage customer interactions effectively, provide insightful advice on investment strategies, and ensure that customer needs are met with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support and Service: Address customer inquiries related to wealth and investment products, providing expert advice tailored to individual needs.
  • Sales and Engagement: Achieve sales targets by promoting relevant investment products and services.
  • Transaction Management: Handle all aspects of transactional outcomes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
  • Escalation and Resolution: Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior managers, ensuring effective resolution.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete required documentation post-interaction to maintain accurate records and track customer requests.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay informed about investment market trends and integrate this knowledge into customer interactions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to regulatory requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing reporting.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a customer service or financial advisory role. A post-secondary degree in a related field is desirable.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Progress towards or completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC course is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills in both French and English, with a good understanding of investment products and market trends.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with BMO InvestorLine products and services, and a basic understanding of risk management and compliance.

Work Environment

  • Location: This position is remote, allowing you to work from home.
  • Hours: Availability to work Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST (37.5 hours per week).

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $35,000–$52,000 per year. The salary range is based on various factors including location, skills, and experience.
