Job Responsibilities:
As a cashier at Real Canadian Superstore, your primary duties will include:
- Providing excellent customer service: Engage in friendly conversations with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Accurately scanning products and processing customer transactions using cash, debit, and credit cards.
- Promoting company programs and promotions: Assist in delivering company-directed promotions and programs.
- Maintaining the checkout area: Keep your workstation organized, stocked, and clean, ensuring it is ready for the next customer.
- Addressing customer inquiries: Help customers with questions and concerns, providing guidance when needed.
- Supporting the store team: Foster a positive and welcoming environment for both customers and team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, no previous experience is required. We believe in providing training to ensure all new hires are set up for success. However, the following skills are essential:
- Good communication skills: Ability to engage with customers and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks efficiently.

Physical Requirements:
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods during your shift.
