Role Overview: Casting Producer
As a Casting Producer at Jubilee Media, you will leverage your interpersonal skills to source and discover top talent for our various digital content productions. You’ll collaborate closely with directors to develop casting strategies, find unique voices from different niches and backgrounds, and build a network of community leaders, micro-influencers, and emerging talents.
This role requires a creative, resourceful, and bold professional with experience navigating sensitive subject matter in a professional and unbiased manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on Strategy: Work closely with casting directors and senior directors to develop effective casting strategies.
- Generate Leads: Source and identify diverse individuals to be featured in Jubilee’s content, ensuring a rich mix of perspectives and stories.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, micro-influencers, and top-tier talent to expand Jubilee’s content reach.
- Manage Processes: Oversee outreach and interview processes, supporting and guiding casting associates throughout assignments.
- Optimize Systems: Improve and maintain company casting systems including databases, forms, and project management software.
Who You Are
- Empathetic and Open-Minded: Able to handle sensitive topics with care and put personal views aside to embrace diversity.
- Experienced Leader: 1-2 years of experience mentoring, supervising, or leading a team of casting associates.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Naturally curious, an active listener, and emotionally intelligent, with a talent for connecting with people from all walks of life.
- Digital Media Enthusiast: Strong interest and understanding of digital media trends and behaviors.
- Organized and Self-Motivated: Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using tools like Asana, Airtable, and Google Sheets.
- Experience with Casting for Dating Shows: An added advantage.
