Job Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations: Manage the daily functions of the EarlyON drop-in resource program, ensuring it meets the needs of children and their families.
- Program Oversight: Provide support and guidance in the delivery of educational activities, parent education, and support services.
- Staff Collaboration: Work closely with the Manager of Early Learning Services and other staff members to ensure a seamless and effective program.
- Administrative Duties: Handle necessary administrative tasks related to program management, including maintaining records and reporting on program outcomes.
- Engagement: Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for parents and caregivers, providing resources and assistance as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: A diploma in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Certification: Registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) is essential.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant experience, including a background in parent education and support, is necessary.
Work Schedule:
- Hours: This part-time position involves working 21.25 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
- Start Date: The approximate start date for this role is September 23, 2024.
