Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-service-oriented individual to fill the position of Guest Services Attendant at Trickle Creek Golf Resort in Kimberley, BC. Role Overview

As a Guest Services Attendant, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, and you are expected to leave a positive, lasting impression on them. Your primary responsibility is to attend promptly and courteously to the needs of guests, anticipate their requirements whenever possible, and ensure their experience is as pleasant as possible. Whether it is greeting guests with a friendly smile, maintaining the cleanliness of the golf carts and surrounding areas, or assisting golfers with their equipment, your goal is to help create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all visitors.

You will report directly to the Golf Shop Manager and collaborate with a team of passionate individuals dedicated to maintaining high standards of service. We emphasize fostering strong relationships with both our staff and guests, making this an ideal role for individuals who enjoy being part of a close-knit team that values communication, respect, and a shared passion for the outdoors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Interaction and Assistance: One of your key duties will be to greet golfers as they arrive, ensuring they are welcomed and assisted promptly. You will assist guests by loading and assigning golf carts, addressing any questions or needs they may have throughout their visit, and providing general information about the resort and golf course.
  • Golf Cart Maintenance: A significant aspect of this role involves ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of the golf carts. You will clean and maintain the carts regularly, making sure they are ready for use by guests. This includes inspecting carts for any issues and performing routine cleaning to ensure they are in top condition.
  • Range Maintenance and Stocking: You will be responsible for picking the range and keeping it well-stocked with golf balls, ensuring that golfers have easy access to all the equipment they need. You will monitor the range throughout the day to ensure it remains in good condition and restock items as necessary.
  • Parking and Drop-Off Area Management: The guest drop-off area and parking lot will also fall under your purview. Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of these areas is crucial, as they are the first things guests see upon arriving at the resort. You will ensure these areas are well-organized, clean, and free of any obstructions.
  • General Cleaning Duties: In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will be expected to perform general cleaning duties around the resort. This includes maintaining cleanliness in public areas, making sure equipment is organized and ready for use, and assisting with any other tasks as needed to enhance the guest experience.
  • Providing Great Customer Service: You will strive to meet and exceed guest expectations in every interaction. Whether answering questions, solving minor issues, or simply ensuring guests are comfortable, your focus will always be on delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Customer Service Experience: While previous experience in customer service is an asset, it is not required. We are more interested in finding individuals who are eager to provide great service and who enjoy interacting with guests.

Working Conditions

As this is a seasonal role, your work schedule may vary depending on the time of year and the resort’s needs. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week during peak times, with fewer hours during quieter periods. The position also requires working flexible shifts, which may include holidays, weekends, and evenings.
