Key Responsibilities
As a Harvest Worker, your primary tasks will include:
- Crop Management: Apply fertilizers as needed and ensure proper irrigation of crops to promote healthy growth.
- Field Maintenance: Clean crops and clear brush and debris from fields, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Harvesting and Sorting: Pick row and orchard crops, then sort the harvested fruits and vegetables into marketable and non-marketable lots.
- Packing and Transport: Pack fruits and vegetables for distribution, and load, unload, and transfer crates and supplies.
- Daily Reporting: Write basic daily progress reports to track crop management and harvesting activities.
- Weeding and Cleaning: Perform weeding tasks and maintain cleanliness in work areas, including greenhouses.
- Physical Tasks: Engage in physically demanding work, requiring attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following skills and attributes:
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
