This role is critical in ensuring that the team of concierge associates and specialists are well-trained and prepared to deliver high-quality service. Role Overview

As a Learning and Development Specialist at Luna, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs for concierge associates and specialists. You will also play a key role in quality assurance, monitoring performance, and providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement. This role involves direct interaction with various departments, contributing to ongoing projects, and supporting technical issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Develop Standardized Training: Create a standardized onboarding training process for concierge associates and specialists.
  • Facilitate Training: Conduct hands-on, focused training sessions for all new hires to ensure they understand company protocols and expectations.
  • Define Performance Milestones: Develop performance expectations, milestones, and checkpoints for new hires, and regularly assess progress.
  • Measure and Report Performance: Monitor and report new hire performance against established expectations to both the employee and their manager.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on booked patient appointments to ensure adherence to service standards.
  • Team Training on New Processes: Lead training sessions for the team on new technology releases, workflows, and processes.
  • Feedback and Communication: Collect feedback on new features and processes, report findings to leadership, and update the team on any changes or developments.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as an expert on workflows and processes related to patient qualification and scheduling.
  • Support Technical Issue Resolution: Assist in reporting and resolving technical issues related to the patient app and internal systems.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and cultivate positive relationships with patients, therapists, and team members.
  • Flexible Role Coverage: Serve as a stand-in for any role within the department when needed.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties and assignments as required to support the team and department.

Qualifications

You are a great fit for this role if you meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in healthcare and scheduling (preferred).
    • 1 year of experience in teaching, training, or coaching.
    • 1 year of experience in developing and delivering training content.
    • 2 years of experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong track record of exceptional customer service.
    • Proficient with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
    • Highly detail-oriented and goal-driven.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and personnel.
