Position Summary
As a Full-Time Maintenance Lead at Hannaford, you will coordinate maintenance activities and ensure the cleanliness and condition of the store and property. You’ll work closely with the Assistant Store Manager and lead a team of maintenance associates. Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Plan, organize, delegate, and follow up on maintenance tasks assigned to associates. Produce daily assignment sheets and provide training and coaching to ensure high performance.
- Cleanliness Maintenance: Ensure the internal and external areas of the store are clean. Duties include sweeping, mopping, and managing spills throughout the shift. Maintain the breakroom and restrooms to company standards.
- Equipment Care: Keep maintenance supplies adequately stocked and manage cleaning schedules for dairy and frozen food sections, ensuring that glass doors are cleaned regularly.
- Property Upkeep: Sweep the parking lot and maintain sidewalks by shoveling and salting as needed. Perform minor repairs to store fixtures and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Uphold company standards for safety, fire prevention, and security. Communicate any necessary repairs and maintain productivity levels.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding service and treat all co-workers with respect and dignity. Maintain open communication with management and team members.
Qualifications
