Job Description:
As a Packer at TreeHouse Foods, you will work under the guidance of the Crew Leader to ensure compliance with our high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. This role plays a vital part in our production line, ensuring that products meet our schedule and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare bulk crackers and trays for production by placing them on the conveyor and ensuring proper alignment and quantities.
- Remove defective or improperly sealed products from the line, maintaining quality standards.
- Pack finished goods into appropriate containers and assist with case packing and other tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean work area, free from debris, while following safety protocols and using personal protective equipment at all times.
- Support team initiatives aimed at improving performance and efficiency throughout the department.
- Participate in various tasks based on production line requirements, including sweeping and collecting garbage.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position on the 3rd shift, operating from 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong multitasking skills and reliable attendance.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and work in hot, humid conditions.
