Job Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide counter services to the public and business community, including selling postal products and services. Offer information and forms to customers, addressing their needs with a focus on quality service.
- Mail Processing: Sort, distribute, and process mail into appropriate classifications. Manage delivery and service difficulties by resolving issues promptly and thoroughly.
- Physical Requirements: The role requires physical stamina to lift mail containers up to 50 lbs, sort mail, and stand for extended periods. Flexibility to accommodate various on-call shifts is also essential.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in business administration or a retail/service environment is preferred. Familiarity with sales, cash transactions, and general accounting systems is beneficial.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in French is essential for this role, given the location and customer base.
- Residency: Ideally, candidates should reside within the community. However, applicants within a 50 km radius may be considered if necessary.
