Role Overview
The Product Operations Manager for the Business Platform team will be responsible for collaborating across various teams to improve product health and quality, specifically focusing on checkout, payments, and billing experiences for online subscribers. The role involves working with product, engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to enhance the product experience, increase internal team efficiency, and ensure a positive experience for millions of LinkedIn members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influence Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Work with cross-functional teams to shape the product strategy, drive changes for key issues, and prioritize product change requests based on user feedback, revenue impact, and other metrics.
- Data Analysis and Insights:
- Use internal tools and queries (such as SQL) to aggregate and analyze member issues, gathering insights to influence the product roadmap and track post-launch impact.
- Collaboration on Product Development:
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to ensure that operational processes are integrated into new product development plans, identifying potential user experience issues early.
- Content Creation and Communication:
- Partner with LinkedIn’s content writers to create help center content, ensuring that members can easily find answers to frequently asked questions.
- Communicate upcoming product features and changes to key stakeholders, driving regular reporting and executive-level readouts.
- Program Development:
- Develop or contribute to internal programs that scale best practices, improve product quality, and establish new operating models.
- Occasional Travel:
- Travel may be required to LinkedIn offices to conduct training, gather insights, and understand processes and tools.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of experience in Product Operations Management, Management Consulting, Program Management, Operations Management, Product Management, or Project Management.
- 1+ years of experience with data analytical languages like SQL, R, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Enterprise Software.
- Experience in Payments and Billing.
- Experience in a Voice of Customer role.
- Familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proven ability to gather business insights and identify trends from multiple data sources.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in cross-functional collaboration and negotiation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience influencing stakeholders using data.
- Ability to adapt to ambiguity and exhibit a growth mindset.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $102,000 to $160,000 (based on factors such as skills, experience, and location).
