Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
As a Seasonal Associate, you will engage with customers and assist with various tasks throughout the year. Here’s what you’ll do:
- Customer Engagement: Greet all customers in a friendly and polite manner, making them feel welcome in the store.
- Sales Support: Assist customers in locating merchandise, promoting products and services, and guiding them in making purchase decisions.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns effectively, referring more complex issues to management when necessary.
- Merchandise Maintenance: Maintain sales floor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated items, and setting up attractive product displays.
- Claims and Returns: Ensure proper handling of claims and returns while securing merchandise and maintaining a safe shopping environment in compliance with company policies.
- Stock Management: Receive and stock merchandise, utilizing appropriate equipment, and completing required paperwork and documentation.
- Referral Duties: Direct customers to the Customer Service Manager for specific service and transactional needs.
- Seasonal Duties: Depending on the season, you may be assigned to various departments. For instance, you may work in the Garden Centre from March to July, assist with toys during the Christmas season, or handle bikes in the summer. Responsibilities may include zoning, watering, and culling plants in the Garden Centre, and limited cash handling.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirement:
- Age: 16 years or older.

- Previous customer service experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
