Position Overview
The Ski Technician role at Ski Butlers is a part-time, seasonal position perfect for individuals who are passionate about skiing and delivering exceptional service. This position involves working on weekends and holidays with shifts that vary between morning and evening. No prior experience is required, making it an ideal opportunity for those new to the field or looking to gain hands-on experience in the ski industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery: Provide timely and efficient delivery of ski and snowboard equipment to customers at their accommodations. Ensure punctuality, clear communication, and proper equipment selection based on guest skills and resort conditions.
- Support: Offer on-mountain support to guests, addressing any equipment-related issues within 45 minutes.
- Pickup: Retrieve rented equipment at the end of the rental period, ensuring it is cleaned, re-stickered, and tuned for future use.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep delivery vehicles clean and properly fueled. Pack orders for upcoming deliveries and prepare for the next shift.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic tuning, waxing, and general upkeep of ski and snowboard equipment.
- Customer Interaction: Handle phone calls with a positive and welcoming attitude. Restock delivery vehicles with extra equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: No previous experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Skills: Strong customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
