Job Responsibilities
As a Warehouseperson, your key responsibilities will include:
- Scanning Compliance: Utilize a GCA scanner for all required activities while ensuring 100% scanning compliance.
- Parcel Handling: Efficiently handle and manage parcels and shipments, adhering to safety protocols.
- Physical Labor: Lift and carry packages, performing repetitive lifting tasks as needed.
- Sorting: Organize and sort packages to streamline routing and delivery processes.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Conduct general cleaning duties within the warehouse to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Reporting: Compile and analyze operational reports to enhance efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety and health measures within the workplace.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of satisfaction for both internal and external customers by representing DHL professionally at all times.
- Team Interaction: Collaborate effectively with other warehouse and operational team members.
- Policy Adherence: Follow all policies and procedures as directed by supervisors, and complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted and perform repetitive lifting.
- Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and manage customer expectations effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with team members and customers.
- Multitasking Ability: Demonstrated capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Tech Savvy: Willingness to learn to use GEMA and other operational tools.
All applicants must pass an interview and a criminal background check, and candidates must be at least 18 years of age to undergo the required background checks.
Work Schedule
This part-time position operates Monday to Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work hours.
