Key Responsibilities:
- Training and Development: Complete all required training, including Zaxby’s Assistant Manager Development Plan, Food Safety Certification, and other required certifications. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development for team members.
- Guest Experience: Ensure team members exceed guest expectations by delivering exceptional service and maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Operational Excellence: Create effective work schedules, plan and delegate shift assignments, and ensure all processes, policies, and procedures are consistently followed.
- Leadership: Supervise and provide leadership to team members, offering guidance and motivation to achieve goals. Assist in performance reviews and develop team members through mentoring and constructive feedback.
- Compliance and Standards: Maintain compliance with Zaxby’s guidelines, federal, state, and local laws, and ensure high standards of service, product quality, and cleanliness are upheld.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle guest and team member complaints and concerns in a timely, friendly, and respectful manner. Report human resources and risk management concerns to the General Manager and District Manager promptly.
Job Qualifications:
- Age and Legal Requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Availability: Open availability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience: 1-3 years of management experience required, with restaurant management experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to interact cooperatively with others and foster a positive work environment.
Location: Ruffin, SC
Pay Range: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour
Annual Bonus Potential: Up to 12% of annual earnings (paid quarterly)
Sign-On Bonus: $1,500
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk continuously throughout the shift.
- Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including the use of ladders.
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead.
- Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation.
- Effective communication through speech, reading, and writing.
- Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception to observe and respond to the environment.
- Work in an environment with hot and cold temperature variations and potential exposure to food allergens.
- Operate and work safely with restaurant equipment, including knives, fryers, and potentially hazardous equipment.
